Using company profile pages on www.theaic.co.uk
In the second article of this ‘Focus on…’ series, we guide you through how to use the investment company profile pages.
Once you have selected a company through the company search, you are able to drill down into its dedicated profile page. This feature is a one-stop shop with lots of in-depth data specific to each individual investment company.
The initial “Overview” tab, highlighted by the left arrow, provides important information as well as some key metrics, performance data and top ten investments.
Next, each clearly labelled tab opens out to reveal more detailled information. This includes performance with a charting function, details on dividends, gearing and charges as well as information on the portfolio holdings or ESG policies of the company.
You also have direct access to company literature such as the factsheets, annual reports and the London Stock Exchange announcements relevant to the company.
The “Research” tab, highlighted by the second arrow, pulls together third-party research notes, articles and videos on the company from a variety of internal and external sources including the company themselves.
The “Engage” tab, above the right arrow, is only visible when a shareholder meeting is upcoming. You can access details of date, venue and resolutions to be decided upon. You can also see the joining details, including online options if available.
